Tree Day
We celebrated national tree day on 11/10/16. Luckily for us the sun shone down bringing lots of welcome autumnal heat. A big thank you to Kevin who as usual made all the preparations. Thanks to the tree council of Ireland for the alder whip which we will now have to add to our native school hedge. The children enjoyed their little outing and their greenschool treat. A very enjoyable morning was had by all with a little gaeilge practice thrown in as fearnóg is the Irish for alder
