Farmers Market Visit
On a sunny Friday morning Room 14 visited the local Farmers Market. Salma’s Mum and Dad own the paella truck so we decided to visit them. We saw lots of wonderful things at the market from different kinds of fish to basket weaving and ornaments made from reclaimed wood. Salma’s Mum made yummy Spanish churros for us. We learned that churros are Spanish doughnuts! We tasted cake from the Fluffy Meringue cake stall, it was delicious. We bought some paella and returned to the classroom to taste it. We had a lovely time at the market and are so fortunate to have it on our doorstep. We’d like to thank all the stall owners for making us feel so welcome. Go raibh mile maith agaibh go léir.
