Pottery Creations
First Class children completed a nine week Clay pilot programme in conjunction with Brenda McGinn (Busy Bee Ceramics) and Monaghan Education Centre. The children got to experiment with clay and use a potter’s wheel to complete a number of pieces of artwork, such as monsters, Christmas trees with decorations, a handprint and leaf print. The children really enjoyed working with the clay and will display their creations at an exhibition which will take place on Monday, 16th December at 7.00pm in the school hall and all are welcome.
