Another busy month in Room 11

October was another busy month in Room 11. In science, we made some butter. Teacher poured some double cream into a jam jar for us and we had to shake it until it eventually became butter. We then sampled our butter on some crusty bread and Báirín Breac. It was delicious!

We also created some spooky Hallowe’en ghosts using our feet! We had to take off one shoe and sock and then dip our foot into some white paint. Then teacher helped us place our foot onto some black card and make a footprint. Our teacher then washed and dried our foot. We really enjoyed this and lots of giggles were had as we dipped our feet in the paint. We also created some pumpkins and skeletons to create a spooky Hallowe’en display in our corridor.

We took part in the Cheerios Childline breakfast. We loved having breakfast together as a class. Go raibh míle maith agaibh to all the teachers who helped to get our breakfast ready for us!

Check out how scary we look as we all dressed up for Hallowe’en. We gave our teacher such a scare!
